Medical Director - Andrea H. Lerner VMD
Dr. Lerner graduated in 1988 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that she obtained her B.S. from Ursinus College with top level recommendations from the pre-professional society. Following 8 years caring for all types of animals at the Old Marple Veterinary Hospital she decided to dedicate herself exclusively to the veterinary care of felines. ‘Just for cats and the people who love them’ is her mission statement and her life.
Co-founder - Lee J. Duchinski
Lee began his interest in veterinary medicine as a teenager volunteering for the first female equine veterinarian ever to graduate University of Pennsylvania Veterinary school. He was priveledged to assist in surgery and in mucking stalls. In school Lee studied architecture and assisted in his fathers building business. Later, after marrying his sweetheart, Dr. Lerner, he decided to build the ‘Just For Cats’ hospital so that she could fulfill her dream.

Sarah Carroll
Sarah is a dedicated animal care professional. She has been rescuing and caring for of all types of animals since childhood. She enjoys her retirement from the field of special education in order to continue to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. Sarah ensures that every aspect of ‘Just for Cats’ serves the best interests of our patients and clients. Sarah has been with of Just for Cats since 2003
Veterinary assistants
Sue Joyce
Sue is a very humorous and creative person. She has hand raised many helpless kittens over the years. Sue has been working in the animal health field for over 30 years and has been a member of Just for Cats since its inception in 1997.
Sandra Lewis
Sandra is currently a veterinary technician student studying at Penn Foster College. She has been a member of the Just for Cats team for over 1 year.
